What’s up?! A whole lot!
..and so is this…
…and so is this!!!
The upcoming months are really shaping up to be some busy ones. (Why is this always a surprise to me?) Between working on orders, dancing, and gardening, there are also a ton of events I must attend! Not to mention all the ideas swirling around in my head…we’ll just wait to see if any of those materialize.
But speaking of bellydance–I have finally posted the playlist for my beginners class that I’ve been meaning to share! If you’ve been looking for it, you can find it under the Bellydance section of the blog or click here. (You’ll also find our choreography notes there, too.)
I’m extremely excited about the upcoming Red Barn Outdoor Market! This is always a fantastic event featuring locally handmade and vintage goods, food, and great live music. It was a great show the first year and just keeps getting better and better!
(This picture makes it look a little sparse…believe me, they will be jam packed with amazing vendors!)
I’m also super excited about learning from THIS amazing woman! Princess Farhana herself will be coming to Wichita, courtesy of Amira Dance Productions, on May 31 and June 1. There will be two workshops Saturday (which I’m sad to say I must miss), a hafla on Saturday night, and a zill workshop Sunday morning, which I plan on attending. Holy moly, I cannot wait…EEEEE!
I also got a chance to finally check out The Workroom last Saturday at their one year anniversary party. It was a truly wonderful gathering of local makers, and I’m very eagerly awaiting what’s next for this fantastic business. I plan on doing some more thorough coverage of this event ASAP, but for now, I’ll let you go. Get out and do something awesome!!
