Lady of the Blog

Hello!  My name is Leanne.  I am a part-time bearded lady, full-time nerd, and this is my little journal on the interwebs!  This is where I record projects, hopefully offer inspiration, often ramble, and sometimes just share pretty pictures.

I love the prairie, sunny days, cozy rainy days, woolen socks–hand knit, of course–old movies, hot tea, good books, some not-so-good books, vintage clothes, buttons, dancing, music, whimsy, being silly, and about a million other things…!

I also love to make things–sewing, knitting, painting, drawing, cutting, pasting and stringing are all quite agreeable to me.  And I love to learn about others who are doing this, too, so I started The Kansas Creative Quarterly, which you can read at www.thekscreative.org.

Sometimes I sell my creations on my Etsy shop, folk.

I am now selling a few knitting patterns at my other shop, Sugar Pickle.
