I recently discovered the joy of knitting round things. And Elizabeth Zimmerman. Of course, I have known about Zimmerman for some time (just as I have known for some time that you can knit round things), but only recently developed an appreciation for her…having read Knitter’s Almanac this past week, I now know I must acquire all other publications by this wonderful woman.
But for now…a doily. Oh, and did I mention I love knitting round things?! It couldn’t be simpler or more enjoyable. I don’t know exactly how long this took, but I completed it in less than a day, without even spending all that much time working on it. I’m currently working on a pattern for a shawl…so watch out for it!
